Founded in 2001, D-Tech has dedicated significant resources to the research and development of our products, and the ongoing improvement of our state-of-the-art facility. Our engineering team has helped shape industry standards, and they are continually expanding the frontiers of science with vision and innovation.

D-Tech Optoelectronic designs, manufactures and markets a broad portfolio of optical communication products. We are a leading provider for telecommunication systems and data communication networks. Our products, used in FTTx deployments, advance the way that telecommunication service providers deliver video, voice and data.

D-Tech also offers foundry services, utilizing our state-of-the-art class 100/1000 clean rooms in southern California, which houses a full production and packaging line.

Mary Fong
Chairperson & Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Fong has more than thirty years of experience in establishing and running new businesses. Her expertise covers investment, business development, finance, and operations. In 1971 she co-founded the New Times Group, a Taiwan based group with offices in over ten countries, and in 1990 she founded Thai Wonderful Wire and Cable. She was founder, chairperson and CEO of Silicon Valley Communications Inc. (SVCI), which was successfully acquired by NASDAQ-listed C-Cor.net in 1999. SVCI designs and manufactures fiber optical systems for the CATV industry. She was the key negotiator in the acquisition process. She is currently also CEO of AdTech Optics, a manufacturer of quantum cascade lasers, which she founded in 2001.


Dr. Xiucheng Wu

President/Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Wu has held senior engineering positions with Perkin-Elmer, Agere, Finisar, and AdTech Optics and has invaluable experience in the optoelectronics field. Dr. Wu has almost two decades of experience in the design and development of optoelectronic devices, specializing in the design and fabrication of high speed InGaAs PINs and APDs.
