1. Optoelectronic Process Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, and optimize, wafer processing for III-V semiconductor photodiode and laser diode including PIN, APD and FP.
- Create documentation for wafer process procedures according to QA requirements.
- Assist QA in establishing a quality system for wafer fab production.
- Consistently improve yield and reliability.
- Develop processes for new products.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelors degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum: 3 years industrial experience in III-V semiconductor product development or production engineering.
- Hands-on experiences with III-V semiconductor processing and device characterization, preferably III-V photodiodes or laser diodes.
- Experiences in establishing semiconductor wafer fabrication.
- High level motivation and initiative in a start-up environment.
2. Optoelectronic Test/Reliability Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, and optimize, testing and qualification procedures for InGaAs photodiode wafer production, including PIN and APD.
- maintain, and optimize, testing and burn-in procedures for TO-type receiver production.
- Set up an additional automatic wafer tester for photodiode production including both hardware and software.
- Create a testing setup for III-V semiconductor laser diode production.
- Perform reliability study and failure-mode analysis for III-V semiconductor photodiodes and laser diodes.
- Create documentation for testing procedure according to QA requirements.
- Train production operators.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
- Minimum: 3 years industrial experience in III-V semiconductor device testing or production engineering, preferably III-V photodiodes or laser diodes.
- Hands-on experiences with III-V semiconductor device testing, including test equipment setup, computer control, and data acquisition.
- Familiarity with LabView, Visual Basic and other computer programming.
- Knowledge of the device reliability and of the failure modes of III-V semiconductor photodiodes and laser diodes is preferred.
- High level motivation and initiative in a start-up environment.
3. Senior Laser Diode Device Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop III-V semiconductor laser diodes development for fiber optic communication including the design and process development of FP and DFB lasers.
- Characterize and qualify these laser diodes according to industrial standards.
- Schedule and manage the project.
- Create documentation for laser diode production according to QA requirements.
- Lead the effort to establish laser diode chip production.
- Train production operators.
- Provide technical support to customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Masters degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum: 5 years industrial experience in III-V semiconductor laser diode product development or production engineering.
- Hands-on experiences with III-V semiconductor laser diode design, processing and device characterization.
- Experience with project management.
- Experiences in wafer production establishment.
- High level motivation and initiative in a start-up environment.
